GloriAnn Farms supports National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Corn for the Cause

TRACY, CA-based GloriAnn Farms and its partner, Five Crowns Marketing, announced their "Corn for the Cause" promotion for National Breast Cancer Awareness month. For every retail case of corn sold during October, GloriAnn Farms will make a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which promotes early detection awareness and mammograms for women in need.

"We are excited about our new charitable partnership with the NBCF", Macornrk Bacchetti, one of the principals of GloriAnn Farms, said in a press release. "Giving back to our community is a core value of both GloriAnn Farms and Five Crowns Marketing. Many of us have been touched by this dreadful disease. We hope to do our part towards education and saving lives with the NBCF."

"We are very thankful for the support from GloriAnn Farms", Brent Hall, senior vice president of development for the NBCF, said in the release. "We are excited about Corn for the Cause."

The GloriAnn tray pack corn for the month of October will be shipped in a pink tray and there will be a sticker highlighting the Corn for the Cause promotion.

"This allows for merchandising opportunities for our customers, as well as increased consumer awareness for the NBCF," Daren Van Dyke, director of sales and marketing for Five Crowns, said in the release. "My mother passed away at the age of 52 from breast cancer, I am very pleased we at Five Crowns and GloriAnn can put our efforts in with the NBCF."
