Paul Kneeland, vice president of produce, floral and seafood for Kings Supermarkets, will now add management of the meat department to his responsibilities. He has been with the company since 2007.
The Kings executive was recently on hand in Gillette, NJ, for the opening of the company’s 25th store in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The signature portion of the new store is the MarketSquare, where "we created an amphitheater of produce," said Mr. Kneeland.
In 2012, there was a company-wide rebranding initiative, accompanied by renovations and reopenings at the company's Livingston and Bedminster, NJ, locations.
Other changes for the Parsippany, NJ-based company include the promotions of Richard Durante to chief operating officer; Jessica Gasser to vice president of human resources, labor relations and administration; Joseph Parisi to senior director of operations; Antonio Acosta to manager of private label, specialty and confection; and Scott Zoeller Sr., director of deli and prepared foods, added management of catering to his list of responsibilities
