Golfers gather to open annual Southeast Produce Council Southern Exposure show in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL — The Southeast Produce Council Southern Exposure conference is underway at the Caribe Royale Resort, here.

Attendance is expected to exceed previous records with a “Back to the ‘80s” gala planned for March 1 and a keynote address from legendary college football coach Lou Holtz March 2 among numerous other networking and educational opportunities.

Though booths are limited and there is a waiting list for SPC-Golf-1 Paul Newstead, Tony Harmon and Dave Yeager were the winning threesome on the Palmer Course.future exhibitors, there are more than 230 vendors displaying at this year’s show and attendance is expected to exceed all previous records.

The conference kicked off, as always, with a golf tournament — this one at Orlando’s championship Reunion Resort, with courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.

The winning threesome on the Palmer Course were Paul Newstead, Tony Harmon and Dave Yeager. On the Watson Course, the winning foursome were George Gilvesy, Neil Galone, Nathan Stornetta and Dave Stornetta.
