The Tom Lange Co. announced May 6 the opening of a new office in Miami, which will operate as Seven Seas Miami.
The new office is located in a warehouse strategically located close to the Miami International Airport and in close proximity to Port Miami, which is currently undergoing a $2 billion infrastructure renovation. Being located close to Port Miami, one of the top container ports in the nation, will provide Seven Seas Miami unlimited import and volume potential, according to a company press release.
The Miami office will operate under a similar business model as the Seven Seas New Jersey office, concentrating primarily on imports from China, Central America and South America. The office will be staffed by Steve Blackburn and Pablo Gonzalez, both of whom have extensive experience in the import and export business.
"Seven Seas Miami represents the expansion of our North American import operations," Tom Lange President Greg Reinauer said in the press release. "The strategic location of the Miami facility, combined with our existing operations in New Jersey and Toronto, provides a perfect opportunity to provide high-quality service and product to our customers. We are proud to welcome Steve Blackburn and his staff to the Tom Lange Family of Companies."
