To-Jo names marketing director

To-Jo Fresh Mushrooms Inc. has hired Julie West Petrovick as director of marketing. Ms. Petrovick will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies for both the fresh and food products divisions of the company. She will also be responsible for the company's in-house creative services initiatives.

Prior to joining To-Jo, Ms. Petrovick was senior sales coordinator for ModernpetrovickJulie West Petrovick Mushroom Sales Co. During her 14-year tenure at Modern, she was the liaison between the farm, customers and the sales force.

Additionally, she designed and produced marketing collateral for both the foodservice and retail segments and was instrumental in the development of Modern's web site and social media efforts. She also wrote and prepared sales analytics, designed and implemented trade show displays, partnered with customers' IT/software personnel, and performed special project work for senior management.

We believe she will make a remarkable and immediate impact within our organization," Anthony D'Amico, president and the fourth-generation leader of To-Jo Mushrooms, said in a press release.

A native of Greensboro, NC, and a resident of Wilmington, DE, Ms. Petrovick will be based out of To-Jo's corporate offices in Avondale, PA.

To-Jo Mushrooms is a producer-grower of fresh mushrooms including whites, browns and specialties, and a processor of value-added mushroom products. Distribution to some 22 states of its fresh products is by a company-owned fleet; value-added processed products are distributed nationally.
