Keenan Farms hires Beth Sequeira

Avenal, CA-based Keenan Farms Inc. announced the hiring of BETH SEQUEIRA to its sales and marketing team on July 24. In her new position at the company, Ms. Sequeira will work to expand domestic and export sales of Keenan pistachios.

“I look forward Beth-Sequeirato the creativity and enthusiasm Beth will bring to the team,” Robert Keenan, president of Keenan Farms, said in a press release.

Ms. Sequeira is a 2006 graduate of Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science with minors in agricultural communication and agricultural business.

Before joining Keenan Farms, she worked as the communications director for the International AgriCenter, producer of World Ag Expo in Tulare, CA, as well as independent work as a freelance communications and marketing consultant, the release stated.

Ms. Sequeira has been involved in agriculture since her youth, growing up on her family’s walnut ranch in Hanford, CA, and is excited to bring her first-hand knowledge of the industry to Keenan Farms.

“Being raised on a farm, I understand and value the entire process behind providing consumers with a safe and nutritionally abundant nut product,” Ms. Sequeira said in the release. “I’m excited to represent the efforts of our growers and share with the world a healthy, tasty and powerful pistachio.”
