The Washington State Potato Commission, based in Moses Lake, WA, announced that RYAN HOLTERHOFF is now director of marketing and industry affairs, effective June 14.
In his new position at the commission, Mr. Holterhoff will be responsible for working with various state potato organizations, potato growers, agricultural commodity groups, private companies, media contacts and other state agencies, according to a press release.
“We’re excited tohave Ryan on board to help us better communicate the story of agriculture and the potato to the public,” WSPC Executive Director Chris Voigt said in the release. “Ryan’s skills are a good match for our organization and the potato growers will appreciate his new ideas, his enthusiasm, and his professionalism.”
Before joining the commission, Mr. Holterhoff worked at Ephrate, WA-based Canfield as the communications manager. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, and currently resides in Moses Lake with his wife and three young children.
