Danaco Solutions LLC, a Salinas, CA-based produce supply chain procurement and management firm specializing in end-to-end risk management for the foodservice industry announced two changes to its staff.
JEFF PRIEBE was named director of quality and food safety and is responsible for quality and food-safety customer initiatives, and will work under Drew McDonald, Danaco’s senior vice president of quality and food safety.
Additionally, DAVE PETERSON was recently hired as vice president of procurement, with responsibility for all procurement strategies, supplier relationships and day-to-day supply chain oversightand execution.
Mr. Priebe has over 20 years of experience in the food industry. His expertise includes quality assurance, food safety and sanitation, product innovation and commercialization, sensory science, culinary arts, and was a food-safety course instructor at Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts. He earned a bachelor’s degree in food science technology and will be based in Danaco’s Chicago office.
Mr. Peterson comes to Danaco Solutions with 25 years of produce and agribusiness experience, having most recently held the position of director of procurement and business development for Kingston Marketing Association. Prior to Kingston, he held several senior-level purchasing positions with Cadiz Inc., Fisher Procurement and Sysco Corp.
