Murray Driediger, president and chief executive officer for the company noted, “Bringing a talent of Steve’s caliber to our team is the logical next step in our company’s progression. His experience, leadership qualities and industry relationships make him the ideal candidate.

“Our company recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and we are poised for strong growth as we move into our new 55,000-square- foot distribution facility later this month. Steve’s experience with some of the industry’s top companies will serve him well in leading our sales efforts to the next level.”

Young expressed his excitement to drive BCfresh’s growth initiatives while working directly with the family farms that grow the produce. “BCfresh has been growing at a remarkable pace,” Young said. “I’m looking forward to supporting that momentum and discovering new opportunities for our growers and their products in the market.”

This announcement marks a change in responsibilities for Brian Faulkner as he hands off his sales responsibilities to Young and transitions to vice president of business development and marketing.

“BCfresh has been growing rapidly and adding Steve to our team positions us well to strive for consistent future growth across all product lines,” said Faulkner.
