Shuman Produce promotes Brady to marketing director, adds staff

Shuman Produce Inc., a leading grower-shipper of Vidalia sweet onions, headquartered in Reidsville, GA, has promoted its long-time marketing coordinator to marketing director and has added three new members to its staff.

Adam Brady has been promoted to director of marketing after serving as marketing coordinator since 2009. He will now oversee the marketing and communications strategy for Shuman Produce and its "RealSweet" brand.BradyAdam Brady

Since joining Shuman Produce, Brady has developed the company's digital strategy to find new and innovative ways of reaching consumers and adding value to one of the industry's leading sweet onion brands.

Robert Franklin, Erin Waters and Kathy Griggs have joined Shuman Produce as logistics manager, sales coordinator and accounting administrator, respectively.

Franklin is a logistics specialist, formerly working in the transportation industry with import and export container freight prior to his start with Shuman Produce. As the new logistics manager, he is charged with overseeing daily logistics and transportation operations. Originally from Statesboro, GA, Franklin is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.

Waters joins Shuman Produce following previous roles as a project manager and sales specialist. She has spent the last seven years working in the environmental services industry serving as a primary point of contact and customer service specialist for company clients.

As sales coordinator at Shuman Produce, Waters will serve as a point of contact for retail partners and assist in day-to-day sales activities. She is a Glennville, GA, native and a graduate of Georgia Southern University.

Griggs has worked in administrative roles for more than 15 years and brings a strong tradition of customer service along with her extensive experience. She, too, is a native of Glennville.
