Ready Pac's Tristan Simpson takes on executive role

Ready Pac Foods Inc. promoted Tristan Simpson to vice president of corporate communications. In this newly created position, Simpson joins the Ready Pac executive leadership team and will lead the company’s communications efforts.

Her responsibilities include executive messaging, stakeholder outreach, public and media relations, digital media and internal associate engagement. Tristan-Simpson-HeadshotTristan SimpsonSimpson will report directly to Tony Sarsam, Ready Pac’s chief executive officer.

“Tristan is a valued part of our organization and has demonstrated proven performance and excellent leadership here at Ready Pac,” Sarsam said in a press release. “I am confident she will successfully help us elevate the engagement with internal and external stakeholders.”

Simpson joined Ready Pac in 2011 and has held a variety of roles within the marketing area, most recently as senior director of marketing and corporate communications. The company said she has been an integral part of the marketing team through her leadership in launching new products, driving strategic marketing programs and launching Ready Pac’s new website and social media platform back in March 2012.

With more than 20 years of experience, Simpson’s career has been dedicated within consumer packaged goods marketing in the retail and foodservice channels. She has managed efforts within the food industry, including product marketing, advertising, business development, communications and public relations.

Prior to Ready Pac, she worked for a variety of companies and brands, including Smart & Final, Paramount Farms (Sunkist), Nancy’s Specialty Foods, Frieda’s, Sun Pacific (Cutie Clementines), and Pandol Bros.

Simpson earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of California-Irvine and later returned to UCI to receive a certificate in marketing. She will remain in the Ready Pac corporate headquarters located in Irwindale, CA.
