Suja Juice, based in San Diego, hired ANYA KAATS as its digital marketing director at the beginning of December.
In her new position, Kaats will be responsible for managing and overseeing all of the objectives, goals, strategies and execution related to the company’s digital marketing, including all digital paid media, social media, email marketing, blogging, and website strategies. She will also be planning all of Suja Juice’s national and regional trade shows.
Kaats has been involved in the produce industry for three years. Prior to joining Suja Juice, she was the brand manager for Mamma Chia. Before that, she worked for Brad’s Raw Foods and Whole Foods Markets.
As a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, Kaats received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, with a focus in writing, psychology and gender studies.
“Whole, natural foods and health were always passions of mine, but I had no intention of pursuing a career in the natural foods or produce industry,” she said. “However, I am thrilled that I am now able to pursue something I only previously considered a hobby in a professional environment.”
Kaats was born and raised on the East Coast, just outside New York City, and recently relocated to California about five months ago. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, photography and working out at the gym.
