LoBue Citrus announced that citrus industry veteran Norm Gatineau will join the company July 8 as vice president of sales and marketing. Based in Lindsay, CA, Gatineau will oversee the management of the sales department, develop and manage the marketing strategy and new business, and work with retail and wholesale buyers on category development.
Gatineau’s experience includes more than 30 years in the produce industry. Whilehe started his career back in the 80s at Dole Fresh Fruit as a district sales manager, Gatineau spent the last 10 years at Bee Sweet Citrus, where he was responsible for sales and new business development. Other positions have included time at Sun Pacific Shippers in citrus, grape and tomato marketing, Sales King International, where he worked on citrus and grape programs and a variety of other positions within the produce industry.
