Kasey Cronquist joins PMA’s Floral Council

Kasey Cronquist, chief executive officer and ambassador of the California Cut Flower Commission and administrator at Certified American Grown, has been selected to serve on the Produce Marketing Association’s 2018-19 Floral Council. His term on the council began in September, according to a news release.

KACEY-CRONQUISTKACEY CRONQUIST“I am looking forward to serving on the PMA Floral Council,” Cronquist told The Produce News. “I look forward to working with fellow members on the council to improve the market for increasing mass market sales.”

Floral Council representatives provide input and guidance to help deliver year-round value to members of the association and to retain and recruit membership.

In his role as administrator at Certified American Grown, Cronquist has worked closely with floral mass marketers on the American Grown Field to Vase Dinner Tour and recently helped drive mass-market sales through the American Grown Flowers Month Merchandising Contest in July. He also was a speaker at the 2017 PMA Fresh Summit in New Orleans.
