WF&FSA’s Management Institute slated for Aug. 1-3

The Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association’s Management Institute will take place Aug. 1-3 at the Newport Beach Marriott Bayview in Newport Beach, CA. The Management Institute, held annually, provides an educational opportunity for members to focus on a compelling business topic for two days, according to a press release. 

The comprehensive two-day program features intensive education and plenty of networking and interactive segments. In addition, many attendees participate in WF&FSA’s Road Trip, which will take them to the top wholesale, retail, event and production facilities in the Newport Beach marketplace.

Education sessions include “Every Yes Begins With a No; Web Search Secrets to Know More, So You Can Win More” and “Don’t Steal the Cheesecake: Digital Reputation Management in an ‘Everything You Do is Posted Online’ World,” presented by Sam Richter, founder and chief executive officer at SBR Worldwide/Know More in Minnetonka, MN; along with “Managing, Leading and Coaching for Results,” presented by Glenna Hecht, president at Humanistic Consulting in Dallas, TX.

The Management Institute Southern California Roadtrip itinerary will have stops at the Los Angeles Flower Market, Gelson’s Markets, Mellano & Co. and Kendall Farms. At the final stop, Kendall Farms will also host the Road Trip Networking Dinner. The Road Trip requires pre-registration and is open to a limited number of participants.
