With an understanding that everyone from customers and consumers to employees and job-seekers are looking to connect on-line and in real time, Sun World International has launched a new web site that will look to enhance users’ on-line experiences.
Sun World will officially launch the new site (www.sun-world.com) at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit convention in Atlanta.
“We are bringing a full sensory experience to this year’s PMA,” Gordon Robertson, senior vice president of sales and marketing said in an Oct. 4 press release. “Our booth will be an interactive innovation station where attendees can visually experience Sun World on-line via touch screens, taste the latest in our variety development innovations and hear more about what’s coming from Sun World in 2012.”
The web site’s interactive features include a product recipe finder, a searchable brand library where high-resolution photos and point-of-sale materials can be requested, and links to leave feedback and interact with the company on Facebook and Twitter.
The company is also investing in connecting with its employees and licensees through all new, password-protected intranets.
“Our site and social media tools are designed so our key stakeholders can get timely information, give us feedback, and learn more about our products and company initiatives, all in an incredibly aesthetic environment,” Mr. Robertson added in the press release. “They’re not just seeing Sun World or our products on-line — it’s an experience.”
