FreshXperts, a leading consulting group for the fresh industry, unveiled eFreshTrack, a customer relationship management system designed specifically for growers, shippers and distributors. The system applies FreshXperts’ 171 years of combined produce-industry experience to the advanced technologies of CRM provider, Soleran.
The hosted application affords convenient access from any computer or smartphone and allows sales teams to track leads from the point of contact, through the sales process — and after the sale is complete.
Because eFreshTrack is hosted on-line, it protects the company from data loss in the event of a computer crash. Storing all sales data in a shared location also guards company data in case of sales staff turnover.
“The eFreshTrack system provides growers, shippers and distributors the opportunity to streamline and gain visibility into the sales process like never before,” Mike Chirveno, customer-facing technology expert for FreshXperts, said in an Aug. 25 press release. “Not only does it make it easier for the sales staff to cultivate and maintain client relationships, eFreshTrack enhances in-house communication and provides managers with a window through which they can view all sales in the pipeline.”
The system operates by allowing sales staff to track client contacts, manage e-mails ,and develop proposals and reports from any location, either in or away from the office.
