When Charlie Cook talks, politicos from both sides of the aisle pay close attention. So will Society of American Florists members when one of Washington’s most trusted voices on all things political is the kick-off speaker for Congressional Action Days, March 11-12, 2013. Mr. Cook will give an inside look at the post-election landscape.

The editor and publisher of The Cook Political Report is billed as “a one-man, go-to source for objective, on-the-mark assessments of politics in America.” A political analyst for NBC News, Cook’s expertise has been featured on ABC, CBS, “Good Morning America,” “Today,” “Nightline,” “Meet the Press” and National Public Radio, among others. He has been an election night analyst for CNN, CBS News and for every presidential election since 1994 for NBC News.

“No matter who wins on Nov. 6, Charlie Cook will have the sharpest picture of what it means for America’s political future,” said Drew Gruenburg, chief operating officer of SAF. “I can’t think of a better way to start our preparations for visits to legislators on Capitol Hill the following day.”

Next year marks SAF’s 33rd annual grassroots action days in the nation’s capital.
