Piazza Produce launches specialty foods product line

Piazza Produce Inc., a leading regional produce foodservice distributor based in Indianapolis, announced the launch of a new product line of unique specialty foods.

The new product line will complement Piazza’s extensive existing selection and is available for immediate delivery.

Piazza is a regional distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, floral and dairy products to a wide array of foodservice leaders across Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio. The launch of the specialty foods line will expand the company’s product offerings to include imported cheeses, oils, vinegars, olives, sauces, truffle product and private-label soup bases.

Piazza Produce is led by Pete Piazza, chief executive officer, who founded the company in 1970 with his father Paul. Under Mr. Piazza’s leadership, Piazza Produce has grown to become a dominant regional foodservice supplier with an extensive distribution footprint covering four states.
