by | September 30, 2010
BioSafe Systems, a provider of crop protection and food-safety solutions headquartered in East Hartford, CT, will be featuring its new FogTunnel produce treatment system and the comprehensive "Field to Fork" food-safety program at the Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit Oct. 15-18 in Orlando, FL.

The FogTunnel will be on display in BioSafe Systems’ booth No. 243, where live produce treatment demonstrations will be taking place throughout the show. Attendees can observe the FogTunnel’s application convenience, while learning how BioSafe Systems’ activated peroxide bactericides and fungicides can reduce spoilage organisms and extend the shelf life of treated produce. Additional chemical dosing and monitoring systems will be on hand for documenting food-safety program audit requirements.

BioSafe Systems will be also featured in the PMA’s Food Safety Solutions Center at booth No. 14. The BioSafe Systems “Field to Fork” food-safety program addresses the ever-changing Good Agricultural Practices and HACCP audit requirements that producers, packers, processors, shippers and retailers face.

Representatives from BioSafe Systems and its partners SmartFog and FruitTek will be on hand to discuss strategies and solutions to any food-safety issue customers are facing.
