Sundia Corp. announced that Mark Sherburne, a veteran of the value-added
produce industry, has joined the Oakland, CA-based company as vice
president of sales, a new position.
Mr. Sherburne will have responsibility for Sundia Corp.'s distribution channels
and strategies worldwide.
"Sundia has been growing so quickly that we now need someone of Mark's
caliber to guide us through the company's next stages of growth," Dan
Hoskins, general manager and chief operating officer of Sundia, said in a
Mr. Hoskins noted that Mr. Sherburne, having held positions of increasing
responsibility in U.S.-based food companies such as Ocean Spray, Nestle
USA, Pom Wonderful, Vitasoy and Ken's Foods, has the unique blend of
startup and Fortune 500 company experience.
"It's a perfect match," he said.
Mr. Sherburne cited the company's reputation for innovation and the talented
team of people he has joined for his excitement about his new role.

Mr. Sherburne earned a bachelor's degree from Providence College and an
MBA from Rivier College.

produce in grocery stores nationwide.
