With Valentine's Day just around the corner, the timing was perfect for Well- Pict and Lifetime television network to showcase the attributes of Well-Pict premium strawberries.

The new episode of The Balancing Act is scheduled to air Feb. 8, Feb. 26 and March 12. In keeping with The Balancing Act's format to inform busy women of current topics that are of interest to them or may be useful in their everyday lives, viewers can expect to see helpful tips on washing and storing strawberries to increase their longevity, as well as learn how Well-Pict strawberries safely get from the field to the table.

In addition, details of why strawberries are known as a superfood are also discussed, with several easy-to-cook recipes using Well-Pict Berries shown at the segment's conclusion.

"This is the perfect partnership for us," Dan Crowley, sales manager of Well- Pict, who also served as the spokesperson for the segment, said in a Feb. 1 press release. "We bring to the table a premium product that has all the characteristics the show was looking for thanks to our proprietary varieties, and they offer a national platform to get Well-Pict's message out to the consumer. It's a win-win for everyone."

Since 1969, Well-Pict has grown and shipped premium, proprietary variety strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, which are currently available on a year-round basis in both organic and conventional lines. In addition, Well- Pict said that it strives to provide superior service based on trust, dedication, ingenuity and the ability to honestly listen to customers to meet their individual needs.
