The Produce Marketing Association's annual Fresh Summit convention, to be held Oct. 2-5 in Anaheim, CA, offers one of the better formal and informal opportunities to network, make new contacts and work to grow a produce business.
It all starts on Friday, Oct. 2, with the Welcoming Reception, scheduled from 6-8 p.m. at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. The reception is designed to help attendees develop new business relationships and reconnect with colleagues. The Chilean Fresh Fruit Association is the sponsor of the welcoming reception.
Floral industry members will want to attend the Floral Networking Reception on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center. This reception provides members of the entire floral supply chain with an opportunity to interact in a relaxed, social atmosphere. C.H. Robinson Co. Worldwide, Fresh Blooms and Keepsake Plants Ltd. are co-sponsors of the reception.
The International Partners Reception on Sunday, Oct. 4, provides an evening during which many cultures converge, providing the opportunity to meet industry leaders from around the globe. Designed specifically to foster multinational relationships, the reception will be held on the Sunset Deck at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel from 5:30-7:30 p.m. KPG Solutions Inc., Maersk Line and Tom Lange Co. International Inc. are co-sponsors of the International Partners Reception.
