Duda Farm Fresh Foods will feature Food Network star and celebrity chef Juan-Carlos Cruz in the company's booth Saturday, Oct. 3, during the PMA's Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition in Anaheim, CA.
As the host of Food Network's "Calorie Countdown" and "Weighing In," Chef Cruz reinvented recipes on the air for hungry dieters, slashing wasted calories and adding flavor to healthy foods.
A graduate of the California Culinary Academy, he is the owner of Pastrydude, one of Los Angeles's premier custom wedding cake destinations. He is also author of The Juan-Carlos Cruz Calorie Countdown Cookbook.
"We're very excited to host Juan-Carlos in our booth during the upcoming PMA Fresh Summit Exposition," Nichole Towell, marketing development manager for Duda Farm Fresh Foods, said in a press release. "Juan-Carlos promotes a healthier lifestyle through the consumption of fresh foods that are prepared in a way that is fun and exciting to the everyday cook. This is also our mission at Duda Farm Fresh Foods. For 85 years we've grown a wide variety of healthy and delicious fruits and vegetables that people enjoy eating on a daily basis, so Juan-Carlos was an obvious choice as our guest."
Chef Cruz will be present in the booth from noon to 3 p.m. to meet and greet booth visitors and to personally sign and provide complimentary copies of his book.
