Domex rolling out new boxes and totes at PMA show

Domex Superfresh Growers, based in Yakima, WA, will be unveiling two new product packaging options at this year's Produce Marketing Association convention and trade show, Oct. 2-5 in Anaheim, CA.

The company will exhibit at booth No. 3473. With thousands of acres of the hugely popular Honeycrisp apple coming into production, Domex has created a high-graphic Euro box dedicated to marketing the variety.

"These boxes will make great displays and will draw attention to the fact that the limited-availability Honeycrisp is in the store," said Loren Queen, communications manager for the company. "Once consumers realize Honeycrisp apples are available, they fly off the shelf. This is a great way to build on that excitement."

Domex will also roll out its new paper tote bag, which has the same country- orchard scene featured on the company's organic boxes. "The earth-friendly brown paper bag will help consumers feel good about their purchase while increasing their ring at the register," Mr. Queen said.
