Salyer American hires new director of marketing, names new sales manager

Monterey, CA-based Salyer American Fresh Foods, a fully integrated grower and shipper of top-grade vegetables, has hired Marci Bracco as its new director of marketing.
Ms. Bracco has more than 15 years of marketing, brand development, strategic planning and public relations experience, and most recently she was director of marketing at Scheid Vineyards in Salinas, CA. Additionally, she has worked in marketing and public relations for Monterra Ranch LLC in Monterey; Mills Family Farms in Salinas, CA; as well as for several Los Angeles-based marketing and public relations firms.
"We are excited that Marci will be using her expertise to develop strategic marketing and public relations campaigns for our premium, fresh vegetable market," Allan Sabatier, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Salyer American Fresh Foods, said in a press release.
Additionally, Joe Kaslin has been named sales manager for Salyer American Fresh Foods. Mr. Sabatier said in the press release that in this role, Mr. Kaslin will lead the efforts of the domestic and export sales and administrative teams.
He has more than 30 years of sales experience in fresh-cut produce and is well known throughout the industry. For the past 23 years, he has been part of the Salyer American team helping the organization to secure a prominent position within the industry. "Joe has a proven track record of delivering results and building cohesive teams," Mr. Sabatier said. "We are fortunate to have someone with Joe's experience in this position."
Mr. Kaslin will be based at the company's corporate headquarters in Monterey.
